As a regular magazine column, Small Scale Scene has appeared within Military Modelling Magazine here in the UK since January 1986. In November 1998 I finally got onto the "Net".

NEW for 2008, I have added new elements, using one of the readily available “Quick Build” web sites, just as a quick method for adding new material.  I have had to re-build some earlier sites, part of which is now ready, while the remainder will be added over the coming weeks (it is going to be a significant addition!)

Go to Small Scale Scene section 2 – Visiting Real Battlefields -  click here

This “Home” page does not change a lot, please have a look through the others, which I update as and when appropriate.  There’s no discussion forum or whatever as there are many other sites on the web which do that well enough without me starting another.

You will find some additional news and reviews that will, I hope, add to what you will find in Small Scale Scene within Military Modelling but I must stress I mean 'add' to and not be an alternative for. There will also be some content on my other love in life, Military Aircraft, and maybe other odd bits and pieces from time to time. While I hope it will be wide ranging, I will try and keep it so that you can find what interests you without having to wade through it all unless you want to.

I welcome any ideas about what you might find helpful. I have had suggestions for the magazine which didn't quite fit with the column, but maybe I can put them into place here if that is what people are interested in. From time to time I might add a complete "article", such as a show report on RIAT at Fairford, or Beltring. We'll see.

The site is written by a modeller for others, and I hope you find it useful. You can contact me with news and views on what you find via the E-mail link.

Enjoy
